Founder & Designer
Mall of Abayas was founded by Afra Shabeeb, a designer with a deep passion for modest fashion and a clear vision to make elegant, high-quality abayas accessible to women everywhere.
What started with a few designs and orders through social media and WhatsApp, soon grew into a trusted brand loved by thousands of women. With a focus on design, quality and customer experience, Afra transformed Mall of Abayas into an international modest fashion brand with a presence in India, the GCC and beyond.
Her journey is a testament to what passion, perseverance and purpose can create.

The Beginning
2016It all started with a passion for modest fashion and a few designs shared on social media. The first orders came through WhatsApp, from women who believed in the vision.

Growing Beyond Borders
2019 – 2022With overwhelming support from our customers, we expanded our collections and started shipping across India and to the GCC, reaching women in 15+ countries.

From Online to Stores
2023 – 2024We opened our first stores in India, Oman and the UAE, with four stores in Kerala, and continued to grow both online and offline.
